Thank you for your interest in Grace Family Fellowship! The following will help you understand who we are and better enjoy your time with us:

OUR NAME:

Grace – because everything that is good originates with God. James 1:17 says that “Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights . . .”   Ephesians 2:4,5, “But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,  even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),” NASB Confirming the essential grace of God is not an attempt to lessen the responsibility of man, but to heighten the greatness and goodness of God to an undeserving people.

Family – because God intended that the family be the church’s primary agent for evangelism and discipleship. We view the family as a team and reject the notion that family members need to be divided up by age and gender to best grow in Christ.  Psalm 68:6 NKJ says “God sets the solitary in families”. Even those who find themselves in a season of singleness are benefited best by being connected to a family within God’s family, the church. Affirming God’s role for the family does not mean in way that we worship the family.

Fellowship – because God said, “It is not good for man to be alone”. (Gen. 2:18 NASB) The promised abundant life in Christ is to be experienced in authentic community via healthy interdependent relationships. (John 10:10; I Corinthians 12:14-26) Acknowledging the need for close relationships is not intended to foster an exclusive community, but, instead, will strengthen and support our members for effective outreach. (Matthew 28: 19, 20) Although valuing fellowship, we are committed to being a church (the local, visible body of Christ) in the fullest sense and not just a glorified Bible study.
